About 22 tons of dangerous onions from Kazakhstan were not allowed to Perm. The reason for the refusal to import a batch of agricultural products was labeling violations, the press service of the Ural Interregional Rosselkhoznadzor Administration reported on Friday, October 10.

The cargo was detained at the Bugristoe automobile checkpoint in the Troitskiy district of the Chelyabinsk region. The transport carrying the onion arrived from the Zhambyl region, writes the news agency " <url>".

During the inspection, it turned out that the markings were present only on the upper layers of the bags of products, while most of the cargo, which was located deep in the body, remained unmarked. This is a sufficient reason for a ban on the import of goods into Russia.

The driver of the vehicle was brought to administrative responsibility for the violation. The batch of vegetables was returned to the territory of the neighboring state under the control of the competent authorities.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
