Russian Radio organizes an exhibition project in honor of the thirtieth anniversary

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the country's national radio, Russian Radio, and the Golden Gramophone Music Award. In honor of the double anniversary, Russian Radio is preparing a unique exhibition project: giant nesting dolls depicting the most titled stars will travel across the country.

Russian Radio is celebrating its anniversary in 2025. The celebration will culminate in two grandiose ceremonies: an anniversary show combining the best songs of three decades, and the 30th Golden Gramophone National Music Award Ceremony, which will be held in the capital on October 30 and 31 at the VTB Arena.

In anticipation of these events, Russian Radio will involve tens of thousands of listeners in a big celebration. A unique exhibition of nesting dolls will travel around the country. Huge installations will appear in the images of titled artists – those who have received the largest number of Golden Gramophones in 30 years.

Philip Kirkorov, Nikolai Baskov, Grigory Leps, Dima Bilan, Ani Lorak, Dmitry Malikov, Sergey Lazarev and Valeria will transform into nesting dolls.

Matryoshka dolls are one of the main symbols of Russian culture, which invariably evokes associations with the country's history, its distinctive art and spirituality. Representing the images of popular performers, the matryoshka dolls will become the quintessence of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Russian Radio. Nesting dolls with the image of stars are a new concept of the "Russian Media Group". Alexandra Yeribekova, a young designer and artist, became the creator of the visual component.

From October 11 to October 12, matryoshka dolls will appear in Kazan. From October 18 to October 19, they will be located in Nizhny Novgorod. Maxim Privalov, a favorite of Russian Radio listeners, will host the opening ceremony. From October 25 to October 26, nesting dolls will be available in St. Petersburg. Here, the guests of the holiday will be welcomed by the bright and incendiary Anton Yuryev. And from October 29 to October 31, matryoshka dolls will decorate the square in front of VTB Arena in the capital.

In each city, the exhibitions will begin with a grand opening with the participation of the hosts of Russian Radio. A series of city celebrations will end in Moscow: for the anniversary show and the 30th Golden Gramophone Ceremony, matryoshkas will come to the capital and take pride of place in front of VTB Arena to celebrate two musical events of the decade together with artists and the audience.
