VTB assessed the impact of AI assistants on the work of IT developers
The development of digital advisors will increase the efficiency of IT specialists by 10%, VTB estimates. This forecast was given by Vadim Kulik, Deputy President and Chairman of the VTB Management Board, speaking at the Finopolis 2025 forum.
VTB has launched its own digital assistant platform based on generative AI technologies. It allows you to quickly launch and scale AI services in the bank's client channels and internal systems.
The bank's digital advisors are already used by several thousand developers, Kulik said. "And we hope to increase their labor efficiency by 10% in 2026, even before fully moving to an industrial environment. Therefore, artificial intelligence and digital advisors are the "core feature" of this year," said the VTB top manager.
Kulik stressed that the VTB platform "can build itself." It is based on technologies from VTB's leading technology partner, T1 IT Holding. "They allow you to automatically develop and document code, run autotests, and solve a number of other tasks. Thus, the platform becomes a robot that builds itself," explained the deputy chairman of the VTB board.
As part of Finopolis 2025, VTB also introduced a number of AI assistants for the bank's employees. Among them are AI assistants for the author and the buyer. Both solutions allow using artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze and structure large amounts of information, which speeds up and facilitates work.
