It is necessary to prevent the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) from being drawn into dangerous adventures for all mankind. This was announced by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the Commonwealth summit on October 10.

"We must not allow the CIS states to be drawn into the most dangerous adventures that threaten both our region and the whole of humanity," the BelTA news agency quoted him as saying.

As the Belarusian leader noted, ensuring the security of the Commonwealth is an absolute priority.

On the same day, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon announced that the CIS had paid special attention to security cooperation this year. He also added that in 2025, work continued on the development of transport and logistics connectivity, digital integration and the expansion of trade and economic cooperation.
