A former Smolensk official burned down in a mobile home in the Moscow region
In the Moscow region, the former head of the Smolensk region department died as a result of a fire in his mobile home. This was announced on October 9 by a source of Izvestia.
In Sergiev Posad, 56-year-old Oleg Ivanov was found in a burnt-out van at night. In the evening, he brought a new batch of humanitarian aid and planned to spend the night in his mobile home. At 02:30, his transport suddenly caught fire.
The causes of the incident are currently being investigated. The main version is that his death could have been caused by careless handling of fire.
Ivanov, who previously held a position in the administration of the Smolensk region, went to serve in the special military operation zone (SVO). After returning from the front, he actively participated in the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid for military personnel. He would have turned 56 today.
Earlier, on September 25, Alexander Fedotov, ex-chairman of the Committee for the Development of St. Petersburg's transport infrastructure, was found dead in the Moscow region. It was noted that the tragedy occurred the day before in one of the hotels near Sheremetyevo airport. Fedotov's body was found under the windows of the building.
