A wayward kangaroo has settled in the Irkutsk Zoo.

Irkutsk Zoo has a new pet, a three—year-old male kangaroo named Bennett from Australia. Everyone can get acquainted with the unusual beast, according to the institution's Telegram channel.

"When he came to us, he immediately showed his cocky and assertive character, made it clear that he would not tolerate neglect. We are lucky to have temperamental guys," the zoo staff said.

According to IA IrkutskMedia, the animal is waiting for its guardian, who will show care and attention, and will also have a unique opportunity to give the kangaroo a name.
