An elderly driver of the Seven was injured in an accident in Yelets, Lipetsk region.

In Yelets, Lipetsk region, an 83-year-old driver was injured in a car collision. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, October 9, on Ordzhonikidze Street. Kia Ceed and VAZ-2107 collided.

As the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region told GOROD48, previously, one of the cars drove into the oncoming lane.

As a result of the accident, the 83-year-old driver of the VAZ received various injuries. The 30-year-old driver of the foreign car was taken to a medical facility for examination.

An inspection has been organized. The circumstances of the collision are being established.

On October 7, Geely, Volvo and JAC collided on the Yelets–Dolgorukovo–Terbuny highway. The 24-year-old driver of the latter was killed, three more people were injured. A criminal case has been opened.
