Moscow compensates for the cost of installing electric car chargers
Moscow will compensate a private investor for the costs of technological connection of electric charging stations (EPPS) for electric cars to city grids. On October 9, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this in his channel in the MAX messenger.
Compensation for joining one EHS will amount to 50%, but not more than 2 million rubles. The city will support the installation of stations with CSS Combo2 and/or GB/T connectors with a capacity of 150 kW or more.
The owners of the EHS will also be required to integrate the stations into the city's software.: AIS "Unified Parking space" and "Energy of Moscow", the mobile application "Metro of Moscow". To apply for compensation, you should contact the Moscow Foundation for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship.
"There are now over 7,000 EHS in Moscow. In the coming years, we plan to significantly expand the network in order to prepare the capital for the growing fleet of electric vehicles and improve the environment," said Sobyanin.
Earlier, on September 26, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia announced the selection for the right to receive subsidies to compensate for part of the cost of purchasing direct current electric charging stations (EPPS) from 149 kW, as well as for their technological connection to the electric grid. The maximum amount of the subsidy will be 60% of the cost of EHS and technical connections. Depending on the power of the station (149-400 kW) It will amount from 1.86 million to 4.37 million rubles. The amount of subsidies for those connections varies from 900 thousand to 2.11 million rubles for a stand-alone ESS and from 1.87 to 2.11 million rubles for a group of stations.
Prior to that, on September 12, Sobyanin reported that as part of the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, Moscow City Hall had decided to conclude long-term contracts for the installation and maintenance of charging stations.
