Marius Keseri, the drummer of the Romanian band Directia 5, has died.

Marius Keseri, the drummer of the Romanian pop-rock band Directia 5, has died at the age of 61. This was announced on October 8 by his colleagues on the Facebook page of the group (the social network belongs to the Meta company, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

"We've been together for 30 years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Rest in peace, Marius Keseri!" the publication says.

The cause of the musician's death is not specified.

Keseri was born in March 1965. He joined Directia 5 in 1996 and remained a member for 30 years. The musician was known to colleagues and friends by the nickname Tete. Prior to joining Directia 5, the musician collaborated with several well-known Romanian bands, including Voltaj, as well as with the rock band Hardton and musician Valeriu Sterian. Keseri
