Oleg Ivanov, the former head of the Smolensk Region department, burned down in his mobile home in the Moscow region. This was announced on October 9 by a source of Izvestia.

The body of 56-year-old Ivanov was found in a burnt-out van near the Meshcheryakov center in Sergiev Posad that night. Oleg Vyacheslavovich brought another humanitarian aid there and decided to spend the night in his mobile home after a grueling journey. At 2:30 a.m., the transport suddenly burst into flames. The causes of the fire are being determined.

Ivanov is a former official from the Smolensk region. He left for his own army, and after returning from the front, he was engaged in collecting and delivering humanitarian aid to the fighters. He was supposed to be 56 years old today.
