Hooking in Russia should be equated with an extremist movement. This opinion was expressed by the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Moscow Region, Ksenia Mishonova, on Thursday, October 9, in her Telegram channel.

"I think it's time to equate seizing with an extremist movement," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the ombudsman as saying.

She clarified that since the beginning of 2025, 28 such incidents have been recorded in the Moscow region, in which 11 children aged 11 to 17 died.

According to the Ombudsman, it is very dangerous for children to get involved in hooking up. She added that when they see their comrades either die or are severely injured and remain disabled, even this does not stop them.

"We should probably contact the parents to keep an eye on the children. Well, we need to register such children, give them some alternative if possible, engage in extreme sports, so that there are sections that would help them release this adrenaline. Preventive conversations are needed, children are not fully aware of the risks," said Mishonova.

The rescue of a schoolboy who fell from a train became known on October 8, according to 360.ru . It was noted that teenagers rode on a "Swallow", the speed of which can reach 160 km / h. One of the minors fell off and fell into a ravine. Then his friends thought he was dead, left him in the grass and ran home, RT reports. The teenagers did not talk about the incident for three days. The schoolboy's mother said that her son is in intensive care.
