Czech Republic reports sales of Lada Niva from Azerbaijan in the country
The classic Lada Niva SUV, which has been assembled at an enterprise in Azerbaijan since last year, is entering the Czech market. This was reported by the Idnes portal. Since the car was not assembled in Russia, it can be officially sold in the EU, the publication clarifies.
The importer of the classic Niva is AMC, which provides a guarantee for the car for a period of two years or 100,000 km of mileage. The price of the SUV starts from 498 thousand crowns (about 1.9 million rubles in translation).
Optionally, Lada Niva customers in the Czech Republic are offered air conditioning (27,000 crowns), tow bar (15,000 crowns), anti-corrosion treatment and roof rack (21,000 crowns each), rubber floor mats (7,000 crowns). The SUV can also be switched to gas, which will cost 55 thousand crowns.
As the authors of the note noted, Lada Niva is known to the Czechs, among other things, due to its important role in the plot of the cult Czechoslovak TV series "Guests" (Nvstevníci, 1983). As Idnes writes, "most people who are used to modern cars won't even get into a Lada Niva," but there is no alternative to a car with its specific characteristics for its price on the market.
Earlier, on September 8, it was reported that 23 thousand Lada vehicles of the Niva family were being recalled in Russia to install the emergency Call System control unit (EES).
