Tajik President Emomali Rahmon said on October 9 that the talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin had been meaningful and constructive.

He noted that the countries are interested in increasing trade turnover, attracting investments and setting up joint ventures.

In addition, Rahmon said that Tajikistan is grateful to Russia for its support in training Russian language teachers and building a center for gifted children.
