Vologda Region to introduce new restrictions on alcohol sales from March 1

In the Vologda region, it is planned to introduce additional restrictions on the retail sale of alcohol from March 1, 2026. They will be connected to premises in apartment buildings, catering points. This was announced on October 9 by Governor Georgy Filimonov in his Telegram channel.

"The sale of alcohol will be prohibited where the area of the sales floor is less than 200 square meters, the placement of alcohol in the checkout area, the sale of alcohol in retail outlets and catering facilities on the ground floors. The bill has been developed and is being coordinated," the message says.
