Putin and Rahmon began face-to-face talks

The Presidents of Russia and Tajikistan, Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon, have begun face-to-face bilateral talks. The meeting is taking place at the Palace of the Nation in Dushanbe.

This is the fourth face-to-face meeting of the leaders in 2025.

The day before, Putin arrived in Tajikistan on a state visit. The plane of the head of state landed at the Dushanbe airport. Rakhmon met Putin at the plane ramp. The presidents shook hands and hugged each other.
