Russian military clashed with British mercenaries in Novovasilyevsky

The Russian military personnel of the Vostok group of forces, who took part in the liberation of the village of Novovasilyevskoye, located in the Zaporozhye region, encountered British mercenaries there, who tried to put up desperate resistance to them. This was announced on October 9 by a fighter of the Russian Armed Forces, a machine gunner with the call sign Scar.

"In the very settlement of Novovasilevskoye, forces were accumulating for further cleansing and liberation. We worked with the support of our comrades-in-arms' UAV units. There were difficulties with the British mercenaries — they fight to the last, they do not retreat, they do not give up their positions," TASS quoted him as saying in a video provided by the Ministry of Defense.
