The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, General Milan Mojsilovic, held an emergency telephone conversation with the commander of the international peacekeeping contingent "Kosovo Force" (KFOR), Major General Ozkan Ulutas, during which he protested over the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from Turkey. This was announced on October 8 by the Serbian Ministry of Defense.

"The Chief of the General Staff noted that such actions are a very bad signal and threaten not only the state of security in Kosovo and Metohija, but also in the entire Western Balkans region," the statement said.

In addition, he pointed out that Serbia, in accordance with international law, the UN resolution and all other signed agreements, considers KFOR as the only legitimate armed formation on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija.

Mojslovic once again demanded that the international forces consistently and impartially fulfill their mandate and ensure a safe environment, as well as freedom of movement for all, and above all, for the Serbian community in our southern region.

On September 25, the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, at a meeting with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric during the UN General Assembly, focused on the situation around Kosovo, stressing that Russia fully supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
