In Yakutia, 280 million rubles were allocated for the retrofitting of two perinatal centers. This was reported to IA YakutiaMedia by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Medical equipment is being purchased for the Republican Hospital No. 1 named after M.E. Nikolaev and the Yakutsk Republican Clinical Hospital. According to Deputy Minister of Health Tatiana Pavlova, more than 70% of the planned equipment has been purchased to date.

"The measures will improve the quality of medical care in perinatal centers and the effectiveness of caring for newborns with extreme and very low body weight," the Deputy minister commented.

The news agency clarifies that medical institutions have already received new monitors monitoring the vital functions of the patient, an artificial lung ventilation (ventilator), a mobile ultrasound machine for patients in intensive care, and other equipment.

Retrofitting is carried out within the framework of the federal program "Protection of Motherhood and childhood" of the national project "Family".
