The incidence of acute respiratory viral infections decreased in the Murmansk region

Over the past week, a decrease in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) has been registered in the Murmansk region. Fewer than 6.3 thousand people turned to doctors.

According to the Bi-Port news agency, more than a third of the cases are children. Mostly schoolchildren get sick.

The incidence is mainly due to viruses of non-influenza etiology. Isolated cases of influenza have also been identified. The incidence of coronavirus infection decreased by 14.3% in a week.

In the Pskov region, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections increased by 0.5% over the past week. Six classrooms in three schools were quarantined.
