In October, the preparation of fountains for winter began in the Moscow region. All objects will be manually cleaned.

According to the Ministry of Territorial Maintenance and State Housing Supervision of the region, all fountains are turned off and water is drained from them. After cleaning, specialists blow through the pipes, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya. All this is necessary to remove the remaining water to avoid pipe rupture in winter. Then the workers install protective shields.

Conservation will be carried out on 225 fountains.

The fountain season in Krasnoyarsk will end on September 30. At the end of the season, a final light and music show was held for the townspeople.
