Over the past decade, the growth rate in domestic agriculture has been more than 50%. Such data was shared by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on October 8.

"In ten years, our agricultural industry has grown by more than 50%. It has become more high—tech, more competitive," the Prime Minister said at the plenary session of the Golden Autumn exhibition.

Mishustin noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly noted the contribution that Russians have made to strengthening agriculture, which has become one of the foundations for its sovereignty.

On October 6, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, during a meeting with the Russian leader in the Kremlin, said that grain yields in Russia have increased by 10% this year. According to him, the wheat harvest this year is expected to reach about 88 million tons. He stressed that this was largely possible thanks to the systematic support of the state and the introduction of advanced technologies.
