The founder of the Island of Dreams was recognized as the "Person of the Year" in the entertainment and leisure industry

The founder of the Island of Dreams cultural and entertainment cluster and the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe, the Sun of Moscow, Amiran Mutsoev, became the winner of the XXIII Crystal Wheel 2025 International Competition in the Entertainment and Leisure Industry Man of the Year nomination.

The award ceremony took place on September 26 in Sochi and brought together the best representatives of the field from Russia and abroad. This award was a recognition of Amiran Mutsoev's significant contribution to the development of the modern leisure industry and the formation of a new level of leisure quality in our country.

Located in Moscow on an area of over 100 hectares, the Island of Dreams unites over 16 facilities, including the country's first and the world's largest indoor theme park with 10 animated universes and 49 attractions. Since its opening in 2020, the Island of Dreams has been visited by more than 19.6 million people, and the number of rides on the attractions has exceeded 120 million. In 2023, the project received the status of an official attraction in Moscow, and in 2024, every third tourist traveling with his family chose the "Island of Dreams" to visit.

Another large—scale project has been implemented under the direction of Amiran Mutsoev - the Sun of Moscow, the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe with a height of 142 meters. Since its opening in 2022, it has been visited by more than 20 million people, and the wheel itself has become the new architectural dominant of the capital and one of its recognizable symbols.

This year, Amiran Mutsoev held a working meeting with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, the achievements of the industry and the prospects for the development of the entertainment industry in the country were discussed.

The Head of State noted Mutsoev's contribution to the formation of Russia's modern cultural and tourism infrastructure and expressed support for his future initiatives.
