Special forces veteran Sergey Badyuk became the host of the show "Winners" on REN TV

Filming of the new super-extreme project, which is being produced in partnership with the PSB Bank, began at the Patriot military-patriotic complex.

The famous athlete, actor and TV presenter Sergey Badyuk will soon appear on television as the host of the new REN TV project "WINNERS". A veteran of special forces, a master of sports in several disciplines at once, including hand-to–hand combat, kettlebell lifting, taekwondo, bench press, armlifting and karate-shokan is well known to the television audience - he has worked in domestic and Hollywood films, as well as the experience of leading the REN TV program "Security Council".

The very first days of filming the show "WINNERS" proved that even the most prepared participants may not be able to handle many of the challenges in the project.

"At the initial stage, an exhausting obstacle course awaits the contestants: climbing a three–meter rope, then six meters along horizontal pipes with a slope. Immediately after, without a break, there is a handwheel, descent along a rope net into a mud pool, overcoming a moat and a treacherous fence with a negative slope, climbing a five–meter ramp and descending from it along a rope net. After such a serious test of endurance, you reach the shooting range, where you need to hit three targets. And finally, the final, exhausting leap to the finish line," said Sergey Badyuk.

The project confirmed the unspoken title of the most dangerous on our TV: even the strongest participants were exhausted and injured here.

ABOUT THE WINNERS PROJECT:

According to the results of preliminary testing and medical examination, 140 people – 120 men and 20 women - were allowed to participate in the new show of the REN TV channel "WINNERS". Geography of participants: 73 localities in Russia, two represent Belarus and one Kazakhstan. The youngest is 22 years old, the oldest is 54. They are all people of very different professions.: firefighters, police officers, rescue workers, special forces soldiers, bodyguards, divers, security guards, doctors. There is also a Russian Railways employee, an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service, an automotive engineer and even two flight attendants. They are all heroes, and many of them have achieved real feats, but being with us, they have remained in the shadows until now. No decorations: a real obstacle course designed for special forces, sports and tactical combat missions for speed, strength and ingenuity. And for the first time on TV, shooting is a mandatory competition discipline. Following the results of the first stage of testing on the verge of human capabilities, four mentors of the project – recognized masters of practical sports – will screen out the bulk of those allowed to participate in the project. Of those who pass on, the mentors will form four squads, for which the trials will continue. The creators of the project will reveal the names of the mentors very soon. The winning squads of each issue will meet in the superfinal to compete for the grand prize, which is also kept secret for now.
