US President Donald Trump may transfer more Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine than originally planned. This was reported on October 8 by the newspaper El Mundo, citing sources from the White House.

"The President [of the United States] intends to supply them, but only in very limited numbers. <... > If negotiations [with Kiev] do not take place due to the Kremlin's refusal, then there will be more supplies," the article says.

According to the newspaper, such an initiative by the United States is "a lever of pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin" to force him to sit down at the negotiating table with the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, adds "Газета.Ru ".

Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish national conservative Freedom Alliance party, said on October 7 that he was not aware of the consequences of the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. According to the Finnish politician, relations between the United States and Russia may collapse. He noted that this is bad news for the whole world.
