A 17-year-old member of the terrorist organization Azov was detained in Krasnoyarsk
In Krasnoyarsk, a 17-year-old young man was detained who joined the terrorist organization Azov (the organization is recognized as terrorist, banned in the Russian Federation) and gave it information about the Russian military and volunteers. This was reported on October 8 in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"According to investigators, in April 2024, the young man, being a supporter of the Ukrainian paramilitary nationalist association Azov <...>, joined its ranks through messenger communication with a member of the organization in order to fight against the current political regime in Russia," the report says.
It is specified that from April to August 2025, he transmitted information to the militants about the headquarters of a volunteer detachment collecting humanitarian aid for members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and also provided information about his relative serving in the Russian army.
A criminal case was opened against the detainee under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Participation in the activities of an organization that is recognized as terrorist in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation").
The incident is being investigated, and the detainee is in custody.
On October 6, it was reported that a man planning to commit a terrorist act, which was planned under the pretext of protecting the interests of Palestinian citizens, was detained at the Pyatigorsk synagogue. He was arrested for two months. The 22-year-old defendant was charged with committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted terrorist act committed by prior agreement").
