Sobyanin announced the planning of the construction of new highways
Construction of a new road that will connect Dvintsev Street and Maryina Roscha 3rd Street is scheduled to begin soon in Moscow. The highway will run along the tracks of the Moscow Central diameters, having received the name Projected Passage No. 1135. A tunnel is planned to be built under Sheremetyevo Street to ensure uninterrupted traffic. This was announced by the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"It will be more convenient for residents of Maryina Roscha to get to the stations MCD-2, MCD-4, Bolshaya Koltsevaya and Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro lines, additional intra—district connections will appear," the metropolitan mayor emphasized.
The project provides for the creation of exits to 1st Streletsky Passage, Oktyabrskaya Street and 2nd Maryina Roscha Street, as well as the extension of 4th Streletsky Passage to the new highway. Additionally, it is planned to reconstruct the existing exit from Sheremetyevo Street to the Projected passage No. 1135.
The project is aimed at improving transport accessibility and reducing the load on the street and road network in the Maryina Roscha area. Completion of all construction works is scheduled for 2028, and design is currently underway.
