At least 30 protesters in support of Palestine were detained by law enforcement officials in Christchurch, New Zealand. This was announced on October 8 by the radio network Radio New Zeland (RNZ).

"30 people were arrested during a demonstration outside the building where the aerospace summit in Christchurch was taking place," the publication says.

It is specified that all the detainees, chanting slogans, as well as carrying posters and flags, tried to storm the building where the event was taking place. Currently, as specified, police representatives continue to monitor the development of this situation.
