A resident of Primorye will stand trial for attempting to set fire to a military enlistment office using a homemade incendiary mixture. This was announced on October 8 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"The investigator of the investigative unit of the investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Primorsky Territory has completed the investigation of a criminal case against a 24-year—old resident of the region, accused of committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "An attempt to intentionally damage someone else's property," the Telegram channel said.

It is clarified that according to the investigation, in August 2024, the accused, following the instructions of the organizer in the messenger, made an incendiary mixture, and then tried to set fire to the building of the military commissariat recruitment office in Vladivostok. The guard was able to detain the intruder.

On September 30, the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service (FSB) reported that a young man was detained in Mordovia who, on instructions from Ukraine, committed arson on railway tracks and involved teenagers in this. According to investigators, the attacker secretly communicated with a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via the Telegram messenger. For a monetary reward, he agreed to set fire to relay cabinets near railway tracks in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia.
