Commentator and adviser to the Minister of Sports of Russia Dmitry Guberniev appreciated the response of the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin to the words of the head of the Ministry of Sports Mikhail Degtyarev about the possibility of not agreeing on his candidacy due to criticism of the limit on foreign players in Russian football clubs.

"Valery Georgievich has a sharp tongue, as we know. That's why it's his style. Maybe he feels some kind of background. It seems to me that if everything was completely normal, he would have responded gently and insinuatingly," Guberniev said in an interview with Sport-Express.
