Gerasimov reported on the strikes on military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine going according to the plan of the General Staff

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are carrying out massive strikes against military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in accordance with the plan. This was announced on October 7 by Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, at a meeting attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"According to the plan of the General Staff, targeted massive strikes against military installations and facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine are continuing," TASS quoted him as saying.

Gerasimov noted that priority in carrying out these operations is given to hitting enterprises that produce long-range missile systems and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"We realized that we can beat the enemy"

The Hero of Russia spoke about the combat path of his unit, which was completed without losses.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian military had attacked the energy and transport infrastructure and fuel storage facilities in the area of the special military operation (SVO). Also, as the ministry added, the units of the Russian Armed Forces eliminated the temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 148 districts.
