Explosive fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were found on Budyonny Street in Lipetsk. This was announced on October 7 by the Governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov.

"Explosive fragments of a UAV have been found on Budyonny Street in Lipetsk. Explosives experts and emergency services are working at the site," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor of the region also noted that he had instructed the mayor of the city to evacuate part of the population, placing people in temporary accommodation facilities.

Earlier in the day, Artamonov reported that as a result of falling debris from drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Lipetsk region, a car and the glazing of a private house were damaged. According to Artamonov, six Ukrainian drones were shot down that night in the region. The governor clarified that there were no casualties, and specialists were working at the crash sites.
