- Medvedev admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could hit Europe with Tomahawk missiles
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, expressed an ironic assumption in his Telegram channel that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) could launch attacks on European cities using American Tomahawk missiles.
"Well, it's clear that they will hit Paris, Berlin, Warsaw. Even the President of the United States [This should be clear to Donald Trump," he wrote.
Medvedev also noted that Trump's statement about the possible supply of missiles to Ukraine looks like a continuation of the policy of his predecessor Joe Biden in order to receive the Nobel Prize.
Earlier in the day, Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish national conservative Freedom Alliance party, noted that the American leader does not realize the consequences of possible Tomahawk missiles in Ukraine. The expert noted that this step would destroy relations between the United States and Russia, which would be bad news for the whole world.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also pointed out that Moscow's position on possible supplies of Tomahawk missiles to Kiev had already been outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a plenary session of the Valdai discussion club. He noted that this would be a serious escalation of the conflict.
