The Central Bank of Russia has approved an updated list of systemically important credit institutions. This was announced on October 7 on the website of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
It is clarified that Otkritie and Rosbank, which are affiliated to VTB's subsidiary and T-Bank, respectively, have dropped out of the list. At the same time, Bank Dom.RF was added to the list. Now there are 12 banks on the list, including Gazprombank, Sovcombank, Alfa-Bank, Sberbank, Credit Bank of Moscow, PSB and Rosselkhoznadzor.
"They account for about 80% of the total assets of the Russian banking sector," the Central Bank said.
On October 2, it was reported that Russia's international reserves reached $713.3 billion during the week. Thus, reserves increased by $0.7 billion, or 0.1%, due to a positive revaluation.
