Russian President Vladimir Putin's schedule for Tuesday, October 7, does not include talks with American leader Donald Trump. This was announced to journalists on October 7 by presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

He clarified that the head of state had already received congratulations from many colleagues on his birthday, but no call was expected from Washington.

"[A conversation with Trump] is honestly not planned," Ushakov said.

He added that the main telephone greetings and negotiations for today are scheduled after 2 p.m.

"That is, the series of these calls will officially begin, and then we will briefly inform you about who called and congratulated Putin in parallel with written congratulations. Something like that," the presidential aide added.

Earlier in the day, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Putin on his birthday. He specified that the dynamic economic development, the strengthening of the statehood and sovereignty of the Motherland, the growth of the authority and strengthening of the role of the Russian Federation in the world are the merits of the head of state. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov also congratulated Putin on his birthday.

The co-Presidents of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega and Rosario Murillo, also congratulated the President of the Russian Federation and wished the Russian leader success and happiness in victory.
