One person was injured in the collapse of a building in the center of Madrid.

A building collapsed in the center of Madrid, one person was injured, and at least four more may be under the rubble. This was reported on October 7 by the newspaper El Pais.

"At least four people were trapped, one was seriously injured," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the fallen building had been abandoned for a long time and was under construction.

Emergency services are currently working at the scene. The cause of the incident is not specified.

Earlier, on September 24, in the center of Bangkok, on Samsen Road, near the Vajira Hospital, part of the roadway collapsed, forming a pit 50 m deep. The drivers managed to avoid falling into the resulting pit by driving back in time. According to official information, two support pillars and a parked police car fell into the sinkhole.
