"Eternal chemicals" belonging to the PFAS group were found in the blood of 24 officials of the European Union (EU). This was reported on October 7 in a study by the Swedish non-profit organization ChemSec.

"Harmful PFAS substances were found in the blood of 24 EU leaders from 19 countries, confirming that no one is immune from the effects of these persistent 'eternal chemicals,'" the publication says.
