- THERE's A HOUSE in the Bank. The Russian Federation noted an increase in the number of b2b transactions through SBP
The number of b2b transactions performed by small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) at DOM Bank. The Russian Federation through the Central Bank's Rapid Payments System (SBP) grew by 40% in 2025. This was reported by the press service of DOM.RF Bank.
According to the bank, the peak of payments occurred in the third quarter of this year — 43%. In July, the number of payments doubled the annual average, which experts called a "record" figure. The bank noted that the turnover in July was 60% higher than in September and more than doubled compared to August.
"In the third quarter, b2b transfer operations using the Fast Payment System were most often used by agents in the tourism sector, which is why the peak in the number of such operations occurred at the height of the holiday season. We are preparing for the next peak in the New Year period in November and December, and we also expect a significant increase in payments involving individuals. Just in September, we expanded the functionality of our online banking in terms of SBP, and now our customers have access to a full range of payments, including B2C and C2B," explained the Vice President, Director of the Transaction Business unit at DOM Bank.Russian Federation Anna Kornelyuk.
On January 16, 2025, transfers through the Fast Payment System to nine countries became available to Russians. According to the Central Bank, at the end of 2023, only five countries were available, but currently Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are among the destinations.
