Radik Halimdarov, a veteran of the Special military operation (SVO) from Kazan, began working as a teacher at a university after returning. His story was told on October 7 in the Popular Front.

Halimdarov devoted more than 30 years to jurisprudence, worked in law enforcement agencies and taught law at universities. But in 2022, despite his age, he voluntarily signed a contract and went to the front.

"I decided to go help the Motherland, because at that time the country really needed those people who could somehow support it," said the veteran of his military.

The man served in the infantry in the Kherson area. After leaving the service, despite injuries and difficulties finding a job, the veteran managed to find a new path. At the labor exchange, he met with representatives of the university, and later received an offer to teach and engage in military-patriotic education of young people.

"I wanted to be useful to the Motherland even at my age. It so happened that I was invited to teach. I didn't refuse," he says.

Radik Halimdarov had previous work experience: teaching law, sports education, coaching. All this helped me quickly adapt to my new role. Today, he teaches students courses on basic military training and life support, as well as shares his life experience.

On May 15, it was reported that Sergey Gryzov, a veteran of the special military operation (SVO) from the Vladimir region, opened his own children's theater after returning from the front. It is specified that Gryzov had already worked with children at the local house of culture and made productions with teenagers. Also, the classes were often attended by children with a difficult fate. With his instructions, he was able to instill in these children a love of theater, and also taught them how to sew costumes.
