On October 7, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed the importance of the dynamics of Russia's bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
He also confirmed that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on his birthday by phone.
"Other issues were also discussed. This is very important," Peskov said at a briefing.
