Garbuzov announced the launch of an industrial quiz for Russian schoolchildren

An online quiz for students in grades 6-11 starts in the capital on Moscow Industry Day, October 7. This was announced by Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

Take part in a quiz on the website mosprom.uchi.ru students from any region of Russia can participate. Everyone will receive a set of 15 questions. The tasks take 60 minutes to complete. You can take the quiz until November 5th.

The interactive quiz "Moscow Industrial: a Guide to Professions" is aimed at introducing Russian schoolchildren to the history and successes of the city's enterprises in a game format. The project tasks can help students decide on their future careers and inspire them to study technical disciplines," said Garbuzov.

The questions are based on five topics: "Industry. People of Industry", "From Photonics to Digital Designs", "Aerospace and Space Projects", "Health Engineering", "Moscow Industry: history, figures, sites". During the quiz, students will learn how products for astronauts are developed and high-tech microchips are created. Participants will also get acquainted with the development and implementation of innovative projects in pharmaceuticals and medicine, photonics and microelectronics.

This is the first joint project of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, Mosprom and the <url> educational platform.

"The quiz shows that engineering and technological professions are not something abstract, but concrete people and modern enterprises that shape the city's economy. We believe that getting to know such examples during school years can be the first step for children to make an informed choice of education and career," said Ilona Abanshina, head of regional development of the <url> educational platform.

According to Garbuzov, Moscow pays special attention to the popularization of industry among Russians. For this purpose, excursions, workshops, exhibitions and sports competitions are regularly held in the capital.
