Lukashenko congratulates Putin on his birthday
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The text of the greeting was published on October 7 on the website of the Belarusian leader.
"The Russian people firmly associate with your name significant social achievements, dynamic economic development, the strengthening of statehood and sovereignty of the Motherland, the growth of authority and the strengthening of Russia's role in the world. Your integrity and determination, loyalty to duty and political wisdom, exceptional devotion to the Motherland and firm will to defend its national interests have earned you national recognition in society and respect from your foreign colleagues," Lukashenko said in his congratulatory message.
He also added that the foundation of allied and strategic relations created by the joint efforts of Belarus and Russia will become a lasting legacy for future generations of citizens of both countries.
Earlier this day, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Putin on his birthday. In his congratulatory message, he also noted Putin's personal attention and enormous contribution to the development of strategic and friendly relations between the two states.
