Air defense systems destroyed 17 UAVs over the Voronezh region

Air defense systems destroyed 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in five districts and one city of the Voronezh Region. This was announced on October 7 by the governor of the region, Alexander Gusev.

"Last night, 17 unmanned aerial vehicles were detected and destroyed by the air defense forces on duty in five districts and one city of the Voronezh Region," he said in a Telegram message.

According to Gusev, in one of the municipalities, the UAV debris damaged the glazing, as well as the boiler room network. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

On October 7, the governor of the region, Andrei Bocharov, announced that air defense systems had destroyed UAVs over the Volgograd region. It was clarified that no damage to the infrastructure was recorded.
