A court in Moscow may fine the singer a coin for 50 thousand rubles.
Singer Elizaveta Girdymova, known under the pseudonym Monetochka (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent), faces a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles for violating the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent. This was reported on October 7 by TASS with reference to representatives of the Basmanny Court of Moscow.
The performer faces a fine of 30 to 50 thousand rubles under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure or late submission by a foreign agent to an authorized body of information provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents"). It is specified that the date of the meeting has not yet been set.
Earlier, on May 5, it was reported that the Russian singer Gyrdymova filed an application for liquidation of her sole proprietor in Russia. Prior to that, on September 6, 2024, the Moscow Prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against Monetochka for evading the duties of a foreign agent.
