The US president announced a "strong signal" from Iran to resolve the situation in Gaza.

Tehran has sent a signal to Washington that it expects an early signing of a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian radical movement Hamas to establish peace in the Gaza Strip. This was announced on October 6 by US President Donald Trump, signing documents in the Oval Office of the White House.

"I think we even received a signal — a very strong signal, as you know, from Iran. They also want it (the signing of the agreement. — Ed.) took place," the head of the White House told reporters.

Trump clarified that at present, all parties to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and states interested in its early resolution are on the "side" of the conflict settlement proposed by the United States, which has not been observed before.
