Four trains were delayed at a railway station in the Vologda region as a result of smoke from an electric locomotive. This was reported on October 6 in the press service of the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"The delay of four passenger trains ranged from 13 to 25 minutes," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the smoke occurred while the locomotive of the freight train was parked at Vologda-1 station. There were no casualties as a result of the incident. The smoke was eliminated.

In addition, the press service clarified that upon the fact of the incident, a check was organized on the implementation of legislation on safety in the operation of railway transport, compliance with fire safety requirements and passenger rights.

On October 6, the press service of the Moscow headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that a fire had occurred in a building that is a cultural heritage site located on Pokrovka Street in the center of Moscow. The fire broke out in the cafe. Arriving fire and rescue units found that the flames had broken out in the attic of a one-story administrative building.
