Putin transferred another Silgan asset to the interim management of the Federal Property Management Agency

Russian President Vladimir Putin has placed a 100% stake in Voronus LLC under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency. The relevant decree was published on October 6 on the portal of the official publication of legal acts.

The company belongs to a subsidiary of the American manufacturer of metal packaging Silgan Metal Packaging Mitterdorf GmbH.

As stated in the document, the relevant decision was taken in order to retaliate against unfriendly actions by Western countries.

Earlier, on July 11, 2024, the President of the Russian Federation transferred the assets of Silgan Metal Packaging to the Russian Federation — the plants in Stupino, Moscow region, and Enema, Adygea, which are subsidiaries of Silgan Holdings, affiliated with the Austrian divisions of Silgan Metal Packaging Mitterdorf GmbH and Silgan Metal Packaging Austria GmbH.
