Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on the introduction of additional anti-corruption measures in the country. The document was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on October 6.

According to the decision of the head of state, the new steps will concern requests for information on securities.

"To approve the attached list of information on securities that holders of the register of securities holders and depositories are required to provide at the request of authorized officials during inspections to combat corruption," reads the text of the decree.

The document entered into force on the date of signing.

In February, at the annual meeting of the board of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, Putin noted that the agency is a strong, reliable and effective link in national security. He instructed the FSB to actively fight corruption in the country and constantly monitor the implementation of the state defense order and national projects.
