The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the creation of cyber troops in Ukraine

New cyber forces may appear in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and deputies of the Verkhovna Rada will consider the relevant draft law. This was announced on October 6 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are continuing the process of building up their capabilities to fight in cyberspace," the command's Telegram channel says.

The first reading of the draft law "On the cyber Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" is due to take place on Tuesday, October 7. The bill was developed by a working group of the Rada, which included specialists from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Prior to that, on October 4, the Strategic Culture portal noted that the transfer of American long-range Tomahawk missiles would not help Ukraine change the course of hostilities at the front. The authors of the article consider Tomahawk to be another illusory "miracle weapon" that NATO has repeatedly praised. It is also noted that the tanks and Western weapons transferred to Kiev did not help the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieve success.
