Portraits of Moscow's best teachers appeared on the media facades of the IAR

Photos of talented teachers were posted on Moscow's largest media facades for Teacher's Day. Together with the Russian Government, the new project was launched by the Mayor's Office of the capital. The names of the 100 best teachers and mentors were named by graduates of Moscow schools yesterday, and now students of the country's leading universities.

"The leaders include both young professionals and experienced teachers. These are candidates of pedagogical sciences, authors of textbooks and manuals, winners of competitions and honorary educators of the city of Moscow. Teachers help students achieve high results at Olympiads, the Unified State Exam and various scientific and practical conferences. But it is equally important that each of them leaves a mark in the heart of the students — the memory of those who helped to believe in themselves and choose their path," Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in his telegram channel.

"I sincerely congratulate Moscow teachers on their professional holiday! You are not just teaching children, but you are constantly improving your knowledge, keeping up with the times, and mastering new techniques. Your personal example of determination inspires students, teaches them not to be afraid of difficulties and confidently go towards their goals. Portraits of teachers with words of gratitude were broadcast on the media facades and digital screens of the MAER media holding throughout Moscow. In just one day, over 4 million guests and residents of the capital saw them.

Your daily contribution cannot be overestimated: you are shaping the future of our country.
