Nutritionist, nutritionist, immunologist, Candidate of biological Sciences Alexandra Guskova, in an interview with Radio 1 on Monday, October 6, told how the temperature of food affects the intestines.

Earlier, information appeared on the web that the temperature of food and drinks can affect the psyche: lovers of cold food are more likely to experience anxiety and depression, while those who prefer warm feel calmer and more harmonious.

The specialist noted that the temperature of food affects the intestines, but how it relates to the psyche is a question.

The nutritionist noted that from the point of view of the effect on the intestines, warm food is really healthier, as it helps to relax the sphincters and prevents cramps. However, she stressed that too hot food can also irritate the gastrointestinal tract.

Guskova expressed doubt about the existence of a direct relationship between the temperature of food and the psycho-emotional state, however, advised to give preference to warm dishes for a comfortable digestion, avoiding extreme temperatures.

On September 10, nutritionist Larisa Nikitina warned that cold food in the fall provokes weight gain. The expert advises to avoid cold dishes and drinks — salads, okroshka, ice cream. They lower the internal body temperature, increase appetite, promote weight gain and weaken the immune system, notes 360.ru .

In August, gastroenterologist Evgenia Zarubina spoke about the dangers of too hot food for the digestive tract. The expert noted that hot food harms the oral cavity: frequent thermal exposure reduces sensitivity, damages the mucous membrane and can cause burns to the esophagus. The optimal temperature of the dishes is from +40... +42 degrees, writes RT. At this temperature, digestive enzymes work best and do not damage the mucous membrane, the website clarifies. kp.ru .

In July, expert Nikolai Vasiliev, in an interview with Izvestia, warned about the dangers of disposable cups with hot drinks. According to him, disposable paper cups with a laminated coating should not be used on an ongoing basis: when in contact with hot drinks, they can release microparticles of plastic.

Earlier, expert Dmitry Bystrov warned that the food particles remaining on the microwave lid eventually become a source of bacteria, which, when reheated, can get on fresh food and cause food poisoning. In an interview with the Moscow City News agency, he noted that microwaves create a humid environment ideal for bacterial growth.
